| Cooperation with German BCS ÖKO-GARANTIE GmbH |

On March 18th, MPS and the German certification organisation BCS ÖKO-GARANTIE GmbH (hereafter to be called BCS) have reached an agreement about cooperation in the field of certification.
In the coming weeks MPS and BCS will start a pilot project with German growers from HELIX Pflanzen and Gärtnersiedlung. The growers will be audited by BCS, but in this phase under the guidance of MPS-ECAS. It concerns the audits for the certificates MPS-ABC and MPS Socially Qualified. Germany is an important country for the sale of floriculture products and fruit and vegetables. For MPS, the representation by a leading certification organisation like BCS is important. For BCS the cooperation is important because MPS has a unique approach to certification of horticultural production and through the cooperation with MPS BCS´ portfolio of certification services will be enlarged.
